I know that our lives are different
And we are miles apart
Time may not be on our side
But you're right here in my heart

I wish I could run to you
And allow my dreams to come true
But, right now, things are not that easy
Though my feelings are very true


Sometimes when I close my eyes
I actually feel you're touch
In my head, my heart and my body
I want you so much

And when my eyes are open
Everything is all too real
And I wonder if I'll ever get to show you
All these feelings that I feel


I must have known you before
In another time or place
How else can I explain
How my heart you so quickly embraced

But, here I am without you
And you there without me
I know one thing is certain
